Cesky Krumlov
A UNESCO-city built on the Vltava banks around an
original 13th century gothic castle.
State Castle Czech Krumlov size among the most
important monuments of Central Europe. In the
original ground plan layout, material structure, interior
installation and architectural detail is preserved Czech
Krumlov Castle in addition offers other cultural
treasures such as a revolving auditorium and wax
museum. City Czech Krumlov is on the UNESCO list.
Hluboká Castle
(Hluboka nad Vlt. - 5 km from Ceske Budejovice)

The chateau of Hluboká was originally founded as a
guarding castle in the mid 13th century.
Extravagant, Tudor-style castle is located high above
Vltava River; richly-decorated interior, painting
collection, park.
Near the castle is a zoological garden, especially
appreciated by children.

Ceske Budejovice
- The capital of South Bohemia with a famous square
and 'Černá věž' tower offering beautiful views of the
town and surroundings as well as the castle Hluboká.

ROZUMBERK CASTLE

One of the oldest castles in South Bohemia was built
by the Family of Vítek around the mid 13th century.
Visitors can climb the 200 steps to the top of the
English Tower, where there is a splendid view of the
surrounding area and romantic landscape.
Town Rozumberg is located in the picturesque valley
of the Vltava River, 10 km from the Austrian border
and 25 km from Český Krumlov.

Passau, Germany

For centuries, Passau was the seat of a powerful
prince-bishopric, the largest in the Holy Roman
Empire, nowadays, it's a bustling town given a youthful
edge by a university founded in 1978.

Dívčí Kámen Castle

The ruins of the Dívčí Kámen castle are located near
Třísov village 9 km to the north-east of Český Krumlov.
The castle was situated on a high rocky hill locked by
the waters of the Vltava river and the stream called
Křemežský stream. This stream empties into the Vltava
river under the castle.

Access to the ruins is possible along the red marked
road from the small village Přední Výtoň (about 10 km)
or from the village Frýdava (on the right bank of the
Lipno Dam) along the yellow and red marked paths
(about 8 km). The small village Svatý Tomáš is
accessible by a car and it lies about 500 m below the
castle.

City and Closter Vysi Brod

Definitely worth a visit. Your attention should not
miss the Monastery library in the monastery, which
comprises over 70,000 volumes, the Postal Museum
and of course, by natural monument and wall
Čertova Luc.
Schwarzenberg Channel

The biggest Šumava technical monument.
The Channel flows into the Große Mühl river in
Austria and combines the basins of the Vltava and
Danube. Channel was originally intended for
floating timber from inaccessible parts of the
Šumava to Vienna. Was later adapted and allowed
to sail up to 24 m long logs. Own channel length is
44 km. Was fed by water from 27 streams, 3
reservoirs and lake Plešné.

Plešné Lake

this lake lies on a hillside Plechý (1,378 m) at an
altitude of 1.089 m about 17 km south of Volar. It
is of glacial origin. On the cliff above the lake
stands at yellow hiking trail Monument writer
Adalbert Stifter. At the northern edge of the lake
rocky sea of rocks from coarse-grained granite
